Ivan Nešić
Ivan Nešić was born in 1999. He began playing violin at the age of six in Pirot. Discovering his talent, in 2008 he enrolled at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija, where after nine years he completed his studies in the class of Prof. Katarina Popović. From a very young age, he has been actively engaged in concert activity, performing as a soloist and as a member of orchestral and chamber ensembles both in Serbia and abroad. Although young, Ivan has already performed in all the major concert halls in Belgrade, including the Kolarac Endowment, the Belgrade Philharmonic, the SANU Gallery, the Student Cultural Centre, and many others. He performed with the school orchestra at the closing concert of BEMUS alongside Roman Simović. Throughout his education, he has won a large number of awards at both domestic and international competitions. In 2017, he enrolled at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the class of Prof. Marija Špengler Marković. In 2019, together with long-standing colleagues, he co-founded the string quartet Elebah, with which he has also achieved notable results. In 2021, he began working as a substitute teacher at the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija. Through masterclasses and orchestral workshops, he has collaborated with Roman Simović, Stefan Milenković, Gordan Nikolić, Maja Avramović, Robert Lakatoš, Stanko Madić, Bruno Campo, Arthur Hornig, and many others.
