Petar Obradović
Petar Obradović (1991) is a violist with extensive experience in orchestral and chamber music, based in Mannheim. He has collaborated as a guest musician with numerous renowned orchestras, including the Belgrade Philharmonic, the RTS Symphony Orchestra, the Croatian Radio-Television Symphony Orchestra, the National Theatre of Republika Srpska, the WDR Funkhausorchester, and the Munich Chamber Orchestra. He was a member of the Montenegro Symphony Orchestra for eight seasons, and has also collaborated with the Belgrade Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Metamorphosis, Camerata Novi Sad, and the No Borders Orchestra, performing classical repertoire, contemporary art music, and innovative formats incorporating performative elements. From the 2024/25 season, he is a scholarship holder at the State Philharmonic of Rhineland-Palatinate, participating in the two-year Transkulturelle Akademie Colourage programme with Ensemble Octans — an opportunity for exchange with musicians from diverse traditions, exploring themes of diversity, demographic change, and cultural participation through new transcultural formats. He has performed alongside Sreten Krstić, Bruno Canino, Dmitry Prokofiev, Ljubiša Jovanović, Mathias Johanssen, the Davidoff Trio, Anton Martynov, and Violeta Smajlović-Huart. He has performed at festivals in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Italy, China, and Germany. He completed his undergraduate and master's studies at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the classes of Prof. Nemanja Marjanović and Prof. Panta Veličković. In the 2025/26 season, he is engaged as assistant principal viola in the Brandenburg Symphonists. He is also actively engaged in pedagogical work.
